I think it does work with that? All I know with how itch works is that it sends the money to my paypal. So maybe its an issue on their end? If you want to make sure it the game works when you download it. I would recommend getting the version on patreon. Mainly because itch combines new and old versions and that can sometimes break things. The amount of comments I have been having where the game just doesnt work for people in PMs is quite a bit. But it is all down to itch.ios version when I send them links to the version on f95zone or the patreon it works perfectly fine. Which is also why I have been trying to link to my patreon content more often as I can control that better. Just an FYI the current system is 10$ a month get the update 1 month before it goes free. 5$ a month is 2 weeks before free. 2$ a month - you get the update 1 week before it goes free. It seems like the original author was trying to turn the boyfriend into an ahole, while redeeming the group leader and maybe pushing a relationship between the leader and mc, typical of ntr.
Your writing has steered away from that. And although I'm a fan of poly, I don't think you're trying to get the best friend to join the relationship but instead have the boyfriend choose the mc over her, to make it seem like the boyfriend is the right choice.
But to me, I've realized that you and the original author have both written the mc to be someone who will be more and more sexually free and independent. This means the mc could be with someone who respects her sexual freedom, OR she could say f*** it and just not be in a relationship at all.
I think the best thing to do is make this a bit more cyoa. Date X or date no one, or date everyone. Be a housewife, broodmother, or ceo. Her future is open ended, and regardless of how you characterize everyone else, the story is still hers.
Well the chapter 8 I am quite literally writing the script for right now lays the groundwork for the ending. There have been 2 endings for this story in my mind from day 1. I am going to try not to spoil too much. But 1 ending would be Misaki and Ryou leaving the circle together and having a family. While Akari joins full time. ending 2 would be Misaki leaving Ryou. Then depending on more player choices destroying the circle from the inside/leading a new circle. I know its kinda late into the story for branching routes but I do feel like player choice is a big deal in a game like this so that the game can end the way you want it to. I am not sure how many endings there will be due to the branching paths to the end, Though in my mind the "good" end will be where both mc and ryou leave and start a family together. If I were to take a guess I would say it will be somewhere between 3-5 endings minimum. As chapters 9 and 10 are the planned endgame but they will be released in parts as I will be doing smaller more frequent updates for those as they will be a couple steps towards all possible routes at a time. I have changed my chapter style already into a scene format, for example the titles for chapter 8s scenes that I have planned so far are (Though I only have finished scripting the dialogue for the first 3 scenes so far....)

I feel like if I take too much time between releases players will forget about this game and ignore future chapter releases thereby shrinking the audience. Right now it has around 1000 players that are downloading each chapter as they come out. Though no where near that many players on itch.io I am unsure why its much less popular here than it is on f95

The popularity issue is just that you're not being favored by itch's algorithm enough yet. Tags, downloads, and consistency of updates are key, and you're doing okay with those, but f95 is a classic forum system afaik so posts are probably helping you a lot there. Itch is very different, but then even super popular games like Third Crisis have been getting buried lately, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Nice pov and animations. The pov inside the vagina was a bit off... visually it had this leather texture while the game is generally flat (because of the anime look). The penis animation inside the vag has some nice detail like how bouncy and full of life it was, while the vaginal and cervix walls were flat. Overall I enjoyed it.

I found a model in KKS that was a slice of the inside of a vagina, Then I took essentially a dildo and blew both of there sizes way up so they would be easier to control and made it a timeline animation. I would have looked a lot better if the texture of the model would match the KKS models. I think its a model someone created and added to the game though. I may try it again sometime like hiring someone to make the asset for me in unity or something. Just thinking outloud at this point.

The harem market is over saturated, because this anime trope is oversaturated. Hero has a bunch of girls swooning over him is seen in non porn lots of times and porn imitates. Rule34 is a core principle.
What intrigued me about lewd games years ago were several management games. Be it what is called dating sim or those brothel simulators. Slowly corrupting the heroine or your girls.
I deem linear or kinetic visual novels boring (when considered as a game). I could just as well watch hentai. Games are an interactive medium, but clicking next is not a game mechanic. Cookie clicker is more a game than most vn.
If your next project is a story game, it is quite straight forward. Tell story, but with lewdness in it. Simple, ain't it. Apply rule34, if necessary.
If you plan on a game with actual game play, imho the noblest goal would be to have a game were the lewdness is crucial part of the game and not added as an afterthought. Corruption mechanics are a good example.
But in the end, you should create what you deem fun to make. If you try to cater to any adult main stream, you probably will go unnoticed. Not only harem is over saturated, games are. Itch has like 800k games. Around 20k of those are lewd (hard to tell, tagging is not very good on itch). And half of those claim to be visual novel. I could "play" one adult visual novel each day and would not get to yours for decades.

Also to answer your question or reply to your thought. Yea the game is very kinetic. I havent added any choices into the game at all yet. Though I am planning on adding a couple into chapter 8 which will change the ending of the game and the entirety of chapters 9 and 10 based on what you do in chapter 8. But as I said in a comment before on one of these sites not sure which anymore tbh but I have said it a few times. I started this game with the only real intention being to learn how to make one of these renpy games as I had no prior experience in it at all, no experience with animations or getting rendering anything of any kind. So this game was meant to slowly understand how everything works and use it as a stepping stone for whatever game I make next. While also trying to build a community that enjoys it. Overarching goals were Start Making game>Build community>Find out what people like and dont like>Build second game based on what people wanted to see>grow community>Repeat. Hi dev, the ingame warning about rape and netorare doesn't make sense.
You should add in the description that this game contains Netorare and rape, for 2 reasons: 1- to prevent people who are not interested in it from downloading something that in the end they will not like, 2- for those who are interested in that

The game is being based off of a currently existing doujin. The doujin has 5 chapters but was left open to add more. I have been changing bits here and there to get the player less emotionally involved in one character and and more in another so on and so forth. Also making it less NTR feeling and more Sharing by in chapter 3 Ryou also starts having some time with the ladies. But the reason I bring all this up, is currently there is no futa characters in the doujin but anything is fair game after chapter 5. I would like to turn this into my own story, that is built by the community on my discord using voting polls to vote on kinks, characters, and plot threads. So what I would recommend is try the game see what you think of it so far, if your not into it pass on it. If you see potential try chapter 3 on my patreon or wait the 2 weeks for it to go free. (Also as chapter 3 is larger than 1gb I don't know how I will be able to upload it on here as there is a 1gb cap?) but chapter 3 doubles the entire existing story in the first 2 chapters because of some of the additions I made.

Thanks, but that is why I have been telling people when judging the game focus on the animations, renders, and character designs. As those are the main things that are in my control. I am slightly changing the story now to make Ryou less of a cuck using thought bubbles and stuff that were not in the doujin and also making him cheat on masaki in chapter 3. I also dropped some hints that maybe he hasnt been faithful at his school either, and since in the doujin he doesnt really have any personality at all, I am moving him more towards the jock bro stereotype to make people feel less bad for him, and more like hes getting what he deserves. The entire main plot in a nutshell is all about a girl realizing how fun sex can be and experiencing new things that makes her fall more and more into lust and corruption thinking more with her orgasms than with her brain or heart.
Just an FYI I am currently working on chapter 8. Which is where I am introducing a Futa character just for you. Though as I know there are some players that are not interested in that. I am making each scene with that character 2x. 1x where she is futa and one where she isnt. There is also a toggle in the options for players to view the futa content or not.
